Copper frame earrings, gold-tone
A pair of stud earrings in copper, electroplated in a gold tone. Each is an open frame with an uneven outline, roughly oval, and inside it a small disc with a softly dented surface, so the light catches in patches rather than in one line. The post sits at the top, behind the frame.
They are 3.5 cm tall and 2.5 cm wide, on a straight post, and the supplier lists the weight as 11.4 g. They sit well with hair up or with a plain crew neck. Plated copper wears at the edges over time; it lasts longer kept dry and put on after perfume rather than before.
